FROTH assist the school to deliver the best education for children by running events that raise money to support curriculum activities and purchase items which would are not available through the school’s annual budget.

2022-2023 Fundraising
Congratulations to Mr Freeman, one of our School Governors, who ran the London Marathon this year to raise funds for FROTH. Thank you so much for your determination to complete this gruelling challenge.
I began training for The London Marathon 2022 way back at the start of the year which is a huge time commitment, often running in the darkness when others are getting ready for bed.
I sadly picked up an injury in the summer which cost me over a month of being able to run and required physio to get back on the road.
On Sunday 2nd October everything came together and I lined up with 50,000 other runners to tackle the 26.2 miles.
The weather was surprisingly warm and I hit "the wall" early at mile 16 and really had to dig deep to keep going.
The thousands of people lining the streets cheering all the runners on kept me going. I was also really lucky to have my family and friends battling through the crowds to cheer me on. I don't think I would have finished without them.
Eventually I crossed the finish line in 5 hours and 6 minutes. I had nothing left, I was so tired.
I am writing this the day after, with my legs feeling like lead and walking down stairs being my worst enemy! - but this is all erased by the fact I completed it, I have a medal to prove it and managed to raise a lot of money for Trotts Hill School - nearly £700 to date.
Wearing a shirt designed by the children made me so proud and pushed me along the way lots of the other runners told me how much they loved the designs too!
I also got to meet Mr Motivator at the start.
It was an amazing experience - but never again!
2021-2022 Fundraising
FROTH have been busy with fundraising. Thank you to them and to the families who support the events. The following events raised: Mothers Day £320.15 Egg Hunt £90.05 Thank you to everyone who took part in the smarties challenge, FROTH will be adding up the totals soon.
2019-2020 Fundraising
This academic year we are raising money for Computing Equipment (including 20 laptops and 15 tablets), as well as a whole school theatre workshop.

Each class started with an empty 2L bottle. The challenge was for children to bring in spare silver coins to fill the bottles with. The class that raised the most money would have a class treat! The coins were also used for a whole school Maths Investigation.
2018-2019 Fundraising
Last year we raised money to purchase a new Trim Trail for the field and a nursery climbing frame. The equipment this includes is: Rope Swing Traverse, Wobbly Bridge, Over and Under Hurdles, Parallel Bars, Pull Up Bars, Log and Net Climber, Solar Powered Stop Watch on Posts and Stepping Logs.
