    Weekly Communication 19th April 2024

It has been wonderful to see the children back at school this week, keen and ready to learn.

We are thrilled with our new lodges which will provide much needed extra space to the school

Well done to Picasso house who enjoyed a non uniform day for being the house with the most house points in the spring term

Next Thursday 25th April, we are having an Earth Day house morning, children should attend as usual in uniform but will be working together in their house teams.

    Mayor Visit

On Friday 26th April we are thrilled that the Mayor of Stevenage, Councillor Myla Arceno, will be visiting us to see OPAL in action and to congratulate our pupil on their recent success.

    Uniform Policy

Please be reminded of our uniform policy and ensure your child has their PE kit in school.  Nail polish and items of jewellery are not permitted. The uniform policy states one pair of plain stud earrings may be worn and removed for PE, extreme haircuts are not allowed. School shoes should be worn not trainers and pupils should have a pair of wellies in school for OPAL and a waterproof coat. Thank you for your co-operation and helping us to maintain our high standards.

    Curriculum Maps

In due course we will share with you the curriculum maps for the year ahead, please look on the class pages on the school website and facebook for any updates.

    Thu 13 Feb 2020

    Congratulations Trotts Hill!

We have received a letter from Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP (Minister of State for School Standards) to congratulate the school staff and pupils on the very high levels of progress that pupils achieved at the end of Key Stage 2. In terms of the progress our pupils made, our school is amongst the top 3% of primary schools in the country. Well done Trotts Hill!  Please see an article in The Comet about this and our sporting success last year.
