Trotts Hill Primary School and Nursery
At Trotts Hill Primary School, we are committed to being an inclusive school where every teacher is a teacher of every child, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We celebrate the achievements, talents and cultural diversity of all members of our school community, recognising and valuing individual differences within the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010.
We provide a range of support and provision for children with SEND, as well as for pupils who may require additional pastoral care. Our aim is to ensure that every child is able to access learning, feel valued and achieve their full potential.
Key staff responsible for SEND and inclusion:
Liz Evans (Headteacher) – Responsible for overseeing the provision for children with SEND.
Hannah Ward (Inclusion Manager / SENCo) – Responsible for coordinating the provision of education for pupils with SEND.
Ruth Kramer (Deputy Headteacher) – Designated teacher responsible for managing Children who are Looked After.
The school’s Teaching and Learning Committee reports to the Governing Body on the provision for SEND to ensure that our support and practices continue to meet the needs of our pupils.
