Increasingly we have pupils and their families following self-isolation advice. With this in mind, your child will bring a home learning book today with learning opportunities and activities. The book should be used to complete home learning activities and be returned to school when your child returns. For those who are not self-isolating the learning brought home should be completed in the event of school closure, during the first week. In the event of school closure, a week after school closes you will receive a weekly email from your child’s teacher with instructions and learning opportunities. Learning opportunities will be uploaded on to the school website under the tab “Parents- in the event of school closure.”
If your child is already self-isolating and you do not have home learning, please arrange for safe collection from school, or for another parent to collect for you as soon as possible. If this is not possible please inform us and we will aim to support.
Passwords for key websites have been given so that your child can access online software from home.
Early years children can access learning on tapestry and upload learning to “hand in”
Every child in Key Stage 1 and 2 has a parents sheet with their log in, and information for parents on how to log on. Part of the weekly home learning is linked to Purple Mash. The children will be asked to complete a 'to-do' list, they will simply need to log in and click on the tab 'to-dos'. Children can then complete their learning online and click the 'hand in' button once they have saved it.
Times Table Rockstars
Each child Year 2- 6, has a parents sheet with log in details. The children can practise their times table as often as they need to. Activities will be set by the teacher .Teachers will be able to sign in to look at the children's progress.If you do not have access to the internet at home, please disregard this element of the home learning.
